CRYSTAL is a gorgeous young leggy mixed breed girl looking for a home. Our best guess on breed is Pointer/beagle mix. She's about 1 year old and fully grown at 38 pounds. Crystal is a timid girl. We pulled from an overcrowded rural shelter where she was destined for euthanasia because she was absolutely terrified and shut down. We decided to take her on as a project and she's beginning to blossom with loving care from humans and the companionship of friendly well-balanced dogs. Crystal is housebroken and crate trained, good with other dogs and afraid of kitties. She needs a home with a patient adopter willing to take the time to earn her trust. Once she trusts you Crystal will give you a happy little smile. She also needs the companionship of a well balanced friendly dog and a physically fenced yard. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
