CUTEST. PANDA. EVER.

This absolutely adorable scruffy boy is looking for a home. Little Panda is an 18 month old small mixed breed boy. He has the face of a border terrier and shih tzu coloring but his breed mix is anybody's guess. Panda is about 18 months old and currently 15 pounds. He's a bit too thin, we'd like to see him add a pound or two. Panda came to us from an overcrowded rural shelter. His scruffy coat is a bit sparse, we suspect he had some flea dermatitis but he also has some scarring on his back. We have no clue what may have happened to little Panda to cause the scarring but as his coat fills out it should be less noticeable. Panda is a playful boy with lots of energy but he also loves a good cuddle. Panda's scruffy coat will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling great. Panda is new to the rescue but appears to be housebroken and walks well on a leash. If you'd like to meet Panda, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
