CUTENESS OVERLOAD! Say hello to EFFIE and ELENA, two adorable little chugs (pug/chihuahua mixes) looking for homes. Elena is around 2 years old and 8 pounds and Effie is 1 year old and 9 pounds. They could be mother/daughter, sisters from another mister or cousins, who knows? They are darling little girls who love to cuddle and love to play. They can be adopted as a pair or separately. If adopted separately they must each go to a home with another friendly small dog. They are both dog friendly and would be fine with cats. They love everyone they meet. Effie and Elena must go to homes in the greater CIncinnati/TriState area in order to complete their vetting with our vet. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. PLEASE NOTE, adopting a young small dog can easily be a 12-15 year commitment. They need homes where they will be well loved for the rest of their lives, not until you have kids, change jobs, move, etc. It is a lifetime commitment. Their lifetime.
All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
