ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED! MACK is a darling little senior dog looking for a home. This sweet boy is around 13-14 years old and 17 pounds. He is a chiweenie (chihuahua/dachshund) type mixed breed boy. Despite his age, little Mack still has plenty of pep in his step and loves to go out for walks. He's an affectionate little fellow who would be happiest as someone's constant companion. Mack loves to carry around soft stuffy toys and REALLY wants to play with his foster brother even though his foster brother is just not interested. Mack needs a little time to warm up to new people. He was adopted from SDHR back in 2013. He and another senior dog landed in a shelter after being found as strays. We suspect his human passed away and he was dumped. He seems to have been well loved over the last 12 years before his life was turned upside down. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Mack is scheduled for a much-needed dental work and his cherry eye will be repaired. His bloodwork looks good, he's a healthy boy other than those two correctible issues. Donors have also sponsored his adoption fee, but a donation would be gladly accepted. Mack seems accustomed to the quiet life. He is best suited to a quiet adults-only home with another friendly dog.
