CHIPS is an adorable freckle-faced beagle boy looking for a home. He's a happy-go-lucky little fellow who will do absolutely anything for a treat. Chips is about 4 years old and fully grown at 24 pounds. He's a tricolor beagle with more red than black. He's dog friendly and uninterested in cats. Chips is playful, affectionate and friendly. He is not well suited to a home with critters, i.e. guinea pigs, hamsters etc.  He was in a room with a couple of ferrets in a cage and the boy was waaaaaay too interested.  Chips needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. You can meet Chips at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
