Say hello to MUPPET BABY, the cutest, sweetest labrador retriever mix pup you'll ever want to meet. She's about 4.5 months old and currently 20 pounds but a bit on the thin side. She will probably be a 50ish pound dog when fully grown. Muppet Baby is a calm, good natured girl who loves to stay close to her people. She's good with other dogs, crate trained and doing very well on housebreaking. She's not fostered with cats, but she should be fine with kitties. Muppet Baby got a rough start in life. She was thrown out like trash on a rural road, surviving on scraps until she was picked up by one of our wonderful rescue partners. She was in rough shape, filthy and covered in fleas but with proper care and nutrition she is thriving. Muppet Baby needs a home in the greater Cincinnati/TriState area in order to complete the vetting covered by her adoption fee. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
