Gavin is an adorable young bundle of joy. His energy is infectious, his goofiness endearing, his ears gravity defying. He's always up for a tasty treat, dancing with excitement as he eagerly awaits a yummy reward. In addition to his playful nature, Gavin is a great cuddler. Gavin is around 1 year old and fully grown at 19 pounds. His breed mix is a mystery, maybe some whippet? Honestly, we have no clue, he appears to be a Heinz 57 Varieties-type mixed breed boy. Gavin can be a bit timid when meeting new people and in new settings but he warms up quickly. He's housebroken, crate trained, dog and cat friendly and best suited to a home with another friendly dog. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
