This beautiful girl is VERONICA, a sweet small young mixed breed girl looking for a new home. She looks like a border collie/lab or flat coated retriever mix but she's much smaller than either of those breeds so she must have some smaller breed(s) mixed in as well. She's about 1 year old and fully grown at just 21 lbs. She has a soft medium length coat and lovely caramel-colored eyes. Veronica is a bit timid in new situations, but once she gets to know you she's a fun, playful young girl. She's best suited to a home where she will have a friendly fur sibling to help build her confidence. If you'd like to meet Veronica, please fill out a dog adoption application at

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
