HAMBONE is a fun boy with a big, friendly personality. He's a social butterfly who loves everybody. Our best guess at breed mix on this guy is some German Shepherd, some beagle and who knows what else. He's 1-2 years old and fully grown at 53 lbs. He has a beautiful medium-length coat. Hambone is new to the rescue, but he already knows "sit" and "shake" and appears to be housebroken. He loves other dogs and wants to be everybody's friend. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
