BUFFIE is a lovely little chiweenie (dachshund/chihuahua) type mix breed girl looking for a home. She's a sweet little cuddle bug who loves playing with soft toys. Buffie was pulled from a rural shelter along with Bonny, who looks very similar. They certainly appear to be related, but we aren't sure how. Maybe sisters? Buffie is 6ish years old and weighs just 9 lbs. She's an easy dog to love. She's fine with other small dogs and loves to meet new people. Buffie is fully vetted and she's had a dental. You can meet Buffie at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate if she's still available.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
