This lovely girl is Edie, an 8.5 year old beagle/spaniel mix who will steal your heart if you'll let her. This sweet girl was unceremoniously dumped in a shelter by the person who adopted her as a puppy. Who does that??? Edie is a well mannered low key girl. She's fine with other dogs, but she's not really interested in playing with other dogs. Edie is carrying around some extra lbs right now (welcome to the club Edie!), weighing in at 51 lbs. She has started a diet in he r foster home and should probably be around 40 lbs or so. Edie is fully housebroken. All of our adoptable adult dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care (vaccines, heartworm testing, etc).
