Electra is one of 9 puppies born to mama Ellie Mae, a 40lb black and tan coonhound mix. daddy is unknown, but probably a hound of some sort. Electra is a sweet high energy girl who loves to play and cuddle. She weighed 5.4 lbs. at her 6-week veterinary check-up. Her current estimated adult weight is 30-40 lbs. Electra is probably best suited to a home with another playful dog to burn off some of  her energy.  Our hound puppies require furever homes with physically-fenced yards. No apartments, no invisible fences please. Hounds have a tendency to follow their noses into trouble. You are welcome to apply specifically for one pup, or to prioritize which pups you are interested in, or to indicate if you are only interested in pups of one gender. However, please understand that the limitations on your application may limit your chances of getting one of these wonderful puppies. All of the puppies from this litter must be adopted into greater Cincinnati-area homes (within a one hour drive of Eastgate). We only adopt puppies into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines. All dogs currently in the home should be heartworm tested annually and on a heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention plan. Please include your vet’s phone number on your application. The pups in this litter will go to furever homes on a foster-to-adopt basis. Adoptions will not be finalized until all of the veterinary care covered in our adoption fee is completed. Our adoption fee covers spay/neuter surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines and deworming.
