Lady Madonna is one of 23 dogs who came in to the rescue from a backyard breeder/hoarder case.  Lady Madonna is a mountain cur mix, about 5 years old and 43 lbs but underweight. She is so sweet, seeking affection from everyone she sees. She would be perfectly fine as an only dog, and fine with another friendly dog. All of our adoptable adult dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care (vaccines, heartworm testing, etc). Please be sure to include your vet’s phone number on your application.
