Jack is Originally from Albany KY where he was terribly afraid and shut down in the shelter.  Once he got to a place with human interaction he has warmed up.  Sometimes he will walk out of his crate and other times he doesn't but once the leash is on he has started coming on out.  He gives hugs and kisses but is still very timid of strangers.  He would do well in a home with another dog to boost his confidence.  He is around 1.5 years old and 30 pounds.
