Nelly is approximately 1-2 years old. She is timid with new people but will approach with treats and learns to trust quickly. After about a minute she was literally climbing into my lap and licking my face for attention. If someone new came in she would run to me for comfort. She is truly a Velcro dog. I had her with another dog, very friendly but calm. She ran over wagging her tail, sniffed, then totally ignored our helper dog. I brought her back a few times and the same thing happened. She was never nasty, just not interested. She was fine with the other dog sniffing her. She LOVES her tennis ball and was play bowing with it and running all over throwing it into the air.
