Ishtar is a 1-2 year old Terrier mix. Very shy. Good with other dogs and children. Very sweet once he warms up to you. Here is what his foster said: "Ishtar could be the BEST DOG I'VE EVER FOSTERED. He is really docile, didn't even flinch when Griffin (3 yo nephew) was being overly exciteable around him. Ishtar is awesome on a leash - Aidan (8 yo nephew with no dog-handling experience) walked him around the block and loved it. Ishtar is completely housebroken . I will try to get better photos of him, but he is truly the most amazing, sweet, quiet little guy ever to walk through my front door. He has a complete sense of calm about him. I would seriously think he could be trained as like a therapy dog or something because he is just perfectly even-temptered. He will not jump up at all - even when you offer for him to be picked up. He might even make a good pet for someone older because he doesn't jump up. Just pure chill! One of my other rowdy fosters pounced on him last night and Ishtar was scared for a few minutes but I put him up in my bed and he just cuddled right up to me and went to sleep. "
