KODA is a cute little chiweenie (dachshund/chihuahua) type mixed breed boy looking for a home. We suspect there's a little bit of pug in his family tree as well. He's a long and low short stack. Koda is about 4 years old and fully grown at 15 pounds. Koda is a sweet playful boy who loves his toys and playtime. He came from a multi-dog environment and is accustomed to getting along with others but can get snarky over his food bowl. Koda is timid in new situations and with new people and needs a little time to get to know you. Once he knows you, Koda is ready to be your bestie. You can meet little Koda at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
