SPARKLES is an absolutely adorable little mixed breed puppy looking for a home. 10 months old and fully grown at 13 pounds with a stunning mahogany and black medium-length coat, our best guess on breed mix is a dachshund/yorkie. Sparkles is a short stack but still does her best to keep up with her foster siblings when playing in the yard. Sparkles loves her toys and her comfy bed and loves to be carried and cuddled. Sparkles is best suited to a home with another smallish playful dog and humans who love to cuddle. She's housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash and is perfectly fine with kitties and other dogs. Sparkles came to the rescue with siblings Wyatt and River, both of whom look like yorkie poo mixes so a DNA test may reveal some surprises in Sparkles' breed mix. You can meet Sparkles at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 if she's still available. 

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
