KIWI fka Jessamine is a stunning mixed breed girl looking for a new home. 2 year old Kiwi was adopted from us as a puppy 2 years ago and is being returned to us through no fault of her own. She is a delightful, playful girl who loves toys, fetch and playing with other dogs. Kiwi is the kind of dog who's never met a stranger, she makes friends with every person she meets. She is a well-behaved girl with a lovely even-tempered disposition. Kiwi has a stunning gold and black medium length coat. She originally came to SDHR 2 years ago from a rural shelter as part of a blended family of puppies being nursed by a collie mix-type mama named Daffodil along with another mama dog named Hyacinth. Our best guess on daddy at the time was some type of lab mix and that still appears to be the case. Kiwi is now fully grown at an ideal weight of 61 pounds. She has the playful energy typical of a young dog and is best suited to a home where she will have a physically fenced yard suitable fetch and play time. Kiwi is housebroken, crate trained, dog and cat friendly. She is a bright girl who learns quickly and takes correction well.
