Is RON a model??? Nope, he's just a beagle looking for a home. But if we ever open a beagle modeling school, we've found our president! Sweet Ron is more than just a pretty face, he's an absolutely wonderful dog. Good natured and affectionate, he loves to be with people. Ron is 20 months old, born July 27, 2023. He's a bit overweight at 40 pounds, his ideal weight is probably around 32 pounds. Ron was purchased from a breeder as a pure-bred beagle, but we wouldn't be surprised if there is some basset hound somewhere in his family tree, he has a very sturdy body type. Ron was surrendered to us through no fault of his own, he is a sweetheart. He's housebroken, dog friendly and ignores kitties. So far he's not terribly interested in playing with other dogs but that may come with time. Ron is best suited to a home with a physically-fenced yard.
