SHIMMER is a stunning young gray and white kitty looking for a home. She loooooves people and adores being petted and loved on. When it comes to other animals, Shimmer is a bit of a diva. She thinks dogs are disgusting beasts and will bully any canine who dares to come near her. She's okay with another kitty provided she has a long slow introduction. Shimmer would be perfectly fine as your one and only cuddle buddy. Shimmer is around 1 year old and fully grown at around 9 pounds. If you'd like to meet Shimmer, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. You can meet Shimmer at our weekly cat adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.
Our cats are fully vetted and require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. We will not send cats to homes where they will be declawed, a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed and microchipped.
