PERRY is an adorable short stack looking for a home. Our best guess on breed is a basset hound mix. He has the long and low body and chonky short legs of a basset with a beautiful brindle coat. Perry is a cheerful good-natured boy who loves everyone he meets. He's playful and bouncy, a fool for treats and affection. Perry is probably between 9 and 12 months old and fully grown at 30 pounds. He's good with other dogs and loves to play. If you'd like to meet Perry, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Perry at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
