How cute is this girl? ROSALITA is a sweet little mixed breed girl looking for a home. She's a terrier-type mix, our best guess is a a Yorkshire Terrier/Cairn Terrier mix. Rosalita is 7ish years old and tips the scales at just 11 pounds. She is an absolute love bug. Rosalita loves toys and treats and cuddles. She was surrendered to a rural shelter after being used for breeding. Rosalita required a little extra veterinary care, she had a mammary tumor removed and a dental cleaning.  Now she's ready to find her happy place in a loving home. Rosalita is dog friendly and would enjoy having another friendly doggie sibling. Rosalita's lovely coat will require regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling great. You can meet Rosalita at our weekly adoption event Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate if she's still available.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
