Sweet ARCHER is a gorgeous mixed breed boy looking for a new home. Archer is a 39 lb. 5ish year old boy, our best guess on breed is a red heeler/beagle mix. Archer is a timid boy looking for a quiet home. He would be okay with a confident dog or fine as an only dog. He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, but delicious treats help speed the process. Archer needs a home with a physically-fenced yard. He is housebroken. If you'd like to meet Archer, please fill out a dor adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org.
All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee
