Welcome CINNAMON a stunning little 17 pound beagle looking for a home. Cinnamon and her brother Nacho were scheduled for euthanasia in an overcrowded rural shelter. We are packed full but decided to save their lives by saying yes. Cinnamon is young, probably 1 year old at most. She is timid and sweet and a little too thin. She needs to add a couple of pounds. Cinnamon needs a home where she will have a friendly, confident dog sibling to help build her confidence. She needs a secure physically fenced yard to prevent her from following her beagle nose into trouble. If you'd like to meet Cinnamon please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Cinnamon at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate if she is still available.
All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
