Meet SKYWALKER,  a goofy, chunky Boston Terrier mix looking for a home. This guy is brimming with personality and loves people, attention and toys. He loves to do zoomies in the yard and jumps for joy whenever he sees a friend. And to Skywalker, everyone is his friend. Skywalker has a beautiful dark brindle coat and a bobtail. He's around 2 years old and fully (over) grown at 28 pounds. Skywalker should be under 25 pounds so he's on a diet. Skywalker needs a home with an adopter who will love him enough to help him achieve a healthy body weight for a long happy life. Skywalker needs room to run and is best suited to a home with a yard suitable for zoomies. He's probably too bouncy and energetic for a home with small children and is not well suited to apartment living. You can meet Skywalker at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
