RASPBERRY is a gentle, good natured beauty looking for a home. She appears to be a red bone coonhound/whippet-type mix, around 4 years old and fully grown at 38 pounds. Raspberry has the gorgeous face and long velvety ears of a red bone coonhound and the high waisted trim leggy body type of a whippet. She is a quiet girl with an absolutely wonderful disposition. Raspberry is housebroken and crate trained and fine with cats and other dogs. She enjoys trotting around with the other dogs in her foster home but so far hasn't engaged in play. She identifies as a lap dog, her happy place is curled up in her foster dad's lap. She looooves people and attention. Raspberry is an absolute gem of a dog. You can meet Raspberry at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
