Meet DENNIS, a super cute little terrier mix boy looking for a home. This scruffy fellow appears to be a border terrier mix with an adorable underbite. Dennis is around 2 year old with a medium length wire haired coat, fully grown at just 13 pounds. Dennis is good with cats and other dogs, loves people and is housebroken and crate trained. He loves a good cuddle and would thrive in any environment -- house, condo or apartment. Dennis is living the conehead life for a few days because was recently neutered and he just can't leave that incision alone. If you'd like to meet Dennis, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Dennis at our weekly adoption event Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate if he's still available.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
