FRITO (Brindle and white) and DORITO (black and white) are adorable 9 month old mixed breed pups looking for homes. These snack sized boys are playful pups who love to run and wrestle and play with toys. Frito is currently 30 pounds and Dorito is 27 pounds and they appear to be nearly fully grown, we expect them to remain under 35 pounds. These boys are Heinz 57 varieties-type mixed breed dogs, it's tough to even hazard a guess at breed. Both boys are affection and respond well to correction. They love treats and attention from people. Dorito currently has a bit of hair loss on his face, the result of poor care and nutrition. With proper care and nutrition, that should clear up quickly. Dorito has a bobbed tail, we aren't sure if he was born that way, or if it was docked or amputated somewhere along the way. You can meet Frito and Dorito at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
