Darling DAISY wants to be your BFF and follow you EVERYWHERE! She's an absolute lovebug with the most adorable cheerful trot. She appears to be a dachshund/beagle mix, long and low with a doxie nose and long velvety beagle ears. Daisy is about 10 years old, give or take a year or two,  and just 21 pounds. She's dog and cat friendly but really wants human attention. Daisy loves to empty toy baskets and carry all of the toys around, silly girl. Daisy was a hot mess when she came to us -- she had 3 mammary tumors and a mouth full of rotten teeth. The tumors were removed and she had extensive dental surgery. She's all healed up from surgery, fully vetted and ready for a furever home. If you'd like to meet Daisy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
