Meet the new kid -- YOGI, a cocker spaniel looking for a home. Yogi is a sweet, beautiful boy, about 3 years old and 26 pounds. He's always been an only dog and would probably be happiest in a home where he will be your one and only love. Yogi loves to be with people and will follow you everywhere. He adores older kids but is not keen on kids under 8 or 9 years old. Yogi's beautiful coat will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling good. If you'd like to meet Yogi, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. 

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
