Hang on to your heart or little miss GEMMA will steal it and you'll never get it back! Gemma is a silly, sassy Jeagle (Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle) type mixed breed puppy looking for a home. She is built for fun, full of puppy hijinks and super friendly. Gemma is about 10 or 11 weeks old and around 12 pounds. She has a soft medium-length coat. Gemma is very athletic and may have the makings of an agility dog! Gemma needs a home with an adopter who understands the importance of training a puppy to be a well-mannered family member. Her perfect home would include a doggie sibling who likes to romp and play. We expect that Gemma will remain a small dog, probably 25ish pounds when fully grown. Gemma must go to a local adopter (in the Cincinnati/TriState area) in order to complete the vetting covered by hear adoption fee. You can meet Gemma at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate, if she's still available. 

We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
