VINCENT is a simply stunning little mixed breed boy looking for a home. He's an 18 pound short stack, about 2 years old and fully grown. He appears to be a dachshund mix with a unique gray and white coat. We have no idea what the "mix" part may be. Long and low Vincent loves people and makes friends quickly. He's a very fun boy who bonds closely to people. He does have a bit of "little man" syndrome -- he can be a bit bossy  but should be okay with another dog as long as his human remains the one in charge. Vincent would also be fine as an "only child". He needs a little work on his manners, nothing major. He's probably not well suited to a home with small children. If you'd like to meet Vincent, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Vincent at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate, if he's still available. 

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
