Meet RANGER, an adventure-loving border collie mix boy looking for a new home. He's about 5 years old and 29 pounds but a wee bit thick and needs to drop a couple of pounds. We suspect he has some Corgi in his breed mix to give him that curled tail, short legs and upright ears. There's something else in there to give him a shorter coat. Ranger loves to play, hike and spend time with his people. Ranger was adopted as a puppy from SDHR back in 2019 and has been returned through no fault of his own. He's great with other dogs and fine with older kids but his herding breed personality is not a good fit with younger kids. Ranger is accustomed to an active lifestyle and is best suited to a home with a physically-fenced yard where he can run and play. No kitties for Ranger.
