Meet ISABEL, a ray of sunshine on a cold winter day. This LITTLE girl is about 1 year old and fully grown at just 23 pounds (not a typo, 23 pounds). Isabel loves everyone and is always up for an adventure, especially in the great outdoors. Our best guess on breed is a Shiba Inu/Husky mix, but that's a guess. She's great with people of all ages, loves dogs and is fine with kitties. She loves loves loves people and would love to live life with an active adopter who will take her along on their adventures, whether it's a hike in the woods, a trip do a dog-friendly bar or to pick up dry cleaning. Isabel has a soft fluffy coat. If you look closely at her pics, you'll notice her left eye is partly blue. Isabel is a housebroken, loves treats, takes direction and correction well. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
