JAZZY bio update: We are getting to know our sweet little Jack Russell Terrier mix girl a bit better. She is a cuddling machine. She is all about snuggle time and belly rubs. Jazzy is about 2 years old and fully grown at just 19 pounds. She's housebroken, crate trained, ignores cats and enjoys the companionship of another medium energy dog. She loves toys and chewies and will happily entertain herself. She must have a home with a physically-fenced yard. If you'd like to meet Jazzy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Jazzy at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
