How handsome is CAP'N CRUNCH? He's a super fun young beagle boy, about 2 years old and fully grown at 26 pounds but still brimming with puppyish personality. He loves to do zoomies in the yard and play with his toys. Cap'n Crunch is good with other dogs, fine with kids and just an all around good boy. He's housebroken and crate trained and needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. If you'd like to meet Cap'n Crunch, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can also meet him at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.
All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
