Sweet BAILEY is an absolutely perfect scruffy dog looking for a new home. She is a 7 year old terrier mix who was a well-loved and well cared for family member, but due to some family health issues she needs to find a new home. Bailey is medium energy, dog and cat friendly, housebroken and crate trained. She has a scruffy, wiry medium-length coat. Bailey has received excellent veterinary care throughout her life, including a recent dental cleaning. Bailey's only issue is her weight, she' should be around 28 pounds but is currently chonky at 39 pounds and has started a diet. If you'd like to meet Bailey, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter, or you can meet her at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
