FAERIE is the perfect blend of beauty and fun. She appears to be a poodle mix. Maybe a schnoodle (Schnauzer/poodle)? Faerie is about 2 years old and fully grown at 16 pounds, but could stand to add a pound or two. She is fun, playful and active. Faerie loves to zoom around the yard with other dogs, literally jumps for joy if you have treats and is just a delightful girl. She loves people, is great with other dogs, not cat tested yet. A good samaritan found Faerie abandoned in a shed and got her to us. Her coat looks slightly worse for wear, but with good nutrition, proper vet care and flea and tick prevention, that's an easy fix. Her scruffy coat will require regular upkeep. If you'd like to meet Faerie, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
