Did someone leave the redbone coonhound in the dryer too long? Meet KEANU, a ridiculously handsome SMALL dog -- 7 months old and just 21 pounds. He's a little too thin, but we expect he'll stay in the 25 pound range when fully grown. His breed mix is a mystery -- he looks like a tiny redbone! He's probably some mix of red beagle, terrier and 10 other breeds. Keanu is lively and playful and needs a home where he will get plenty of exercise. When it's time to settle he's an absolute love bug. He's so photogenic and loves to pose for photos. Keanu likes toys and treats and running around in a physically-fenced yard. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
