Elizabeth (black/white apple head chihuahua) and Edgar (brindle deer head chihuahua) are 8 month old brother and sister puppies looking for homes. They are the absolute sweetest pair of chihuahuas you'll ever meet. They love to play and love toys. Elizabeth tips the scales at 6 pounds, Edgar weighs 7 pounds. They are both fully grown. Elizabeth and Edgar are house broken, crate trained and fine with other small dogs. Itty bitty dogs are very fragile, so we'd prefer not to send them to a home with small children or big dogs. They can be adopted together or separately, but if separated, they must go to homes with another playful small dog. If you'd like to meet Elizabeth and/or Edgar, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. They will not be coming to our weekly adoption events. 

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
