Dante needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

Isn't DANTE a dreamboat? That handsome face and soulful eyes are just perfect. Dante is a 2-3 year old little beagle boy, fully grown at just 22 pounds. Dante is a sweet low/medium-energy guy who loves to cuddle. He's great with people of all ages. He's fine with other dogs and respectful with kitties. Dante can be timid in new situations but warms up quickly. Treats help, he's very food motivated. Dante is a go-with-the-flow kind of guy who is perfectly content to cuddle while binge watching your favorite show. He needs a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. Dante is housebroken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet Dante, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Dante at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 if he's still available.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
