Little Miss PALMER is a sweet little love bug. She appears to be a rat terrier mix, about 3 years old and fully grown (and slightly overweight) at 24 lbs. Ideally she should be 21 pounds. Palmer is a beautiful girl who looooooves attention from her people and would be so happy to be someone's constant companion, charming everyone she meets. She loves to play with toys and loves to cuddle. If you'd like to meet this darling girl, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter, or you can meet her at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
