Stunning LAINIE is the perfect family dog! She's a sweet little mixed breed girl, about 2 years old and fully grown at 28 pounds. One of her favorite morning jobs is running from room to room helping to wake up the kids in her foster home -- and they love it! She's very people oriented and so happy each day when the kids get home from school. While the kids are gone, Lainie loves toys and will happily entertain herself playing with them. She's a good "work from home" office mate. She's an independent girl who would be perfectly happy
as an only dog. She's okay with other dogs but is toy possessive. She's perfectly happy with her humans and her toys, she doesn't really need other dogs.
. Lainie is your basic Heinz 57 varieties-type mixed breed girl. We're guessing she's part beagle with those velvety ears, maybe some black mouth cur or boxer or pug (or all 3) and heaven only knows what else. Lainie is housebroken and crate trained. She requires a home with a physically-fenced yard. If you'd like to meet Lainie, please fill out a dog adoption application at

We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter, or you can meet her at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.
All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
