JAGGER is one adorable doggo who absolutely refuses to let us get good photos of him! He's your basic perfect dog -- housebroken, great with other dogs of all ages, fine with cats and loves people. He has a happy-go-lucky disposition. Jagger is also gorgeous, we just haven't gotten him to the point of settling down and letting us get some good pics. Instead he kept his beautiful long ears in "seal mode". Jagger is a sturdy little Heinz 57 varieties-type mixed breed guy, probably part beagle, maybe some Pointer, Australian Cattle Dog and who knows what else. He has a soft, medium-length coat and dreamy light brown eyes. He's about 3 years old and fully grown at 32 pounds. Jagger is best suited to a home with another playful dog and a physically-fenced yard suitable for romping. You can meet Jagger at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-3 at PetSmart Eastgate, if he's still available.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
