CUTE! CUTE! CUTE!

Meet TAFFETA, a precious little 10 pound 2 year old floof looking for a furever home. She appears to be a Maltipoo (Maltese/Poodle mix). Her fur is a bit discolored due to neglect, she was covered in fleas when she landed in a shelter as a stray. The fleas are gone, she's had a nice bath and with proper care her coat will be snowy white very soon. She must must must be kept on flea and tick prevention (and heartworm prevention). Taffeta is basically perfect -- housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, fine with other dogs. She hasn't been cat tested yet. Taffeta's coat will require regular care/grooming to prevent her from becoming a matted mess. Your groomer will adore this little sweetheart. You can meet her at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-3 at PetSmart Eastgate if she's still available.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
