FARLEY is a total charmer who loves every person he meets. He's a cheerful, easygoing, treat loving beagle boy  Farley is 6-7 years old and fully grown at 27 pounds. He enjoys wandering around the yard with his nose to the ground and playing but he's not interested in/amused by other playful young dogs. We think he might be okay with another low key dog but would be perfectly happy as your one and only fur baby. Farley is a perfect passenger in the car and loves to go to dog friendly stores and bars. He walks well on a leash and never pulls because he's just too busy smelling all of the smells. He's a perfect low/medium energy sidekick. Farley is new to the rescue but appears to be housebroken. If you'd like to meet Farley, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Farley at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-3 at PetSmart Eastgate.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
