RANDY is a drop dead gorgeous beagle/basset-type mix looking for a home. He's probably more beagle than basset, but those stubby chunky legs are more basset than beagle. He's technically a tricolor boy, but he's mostly red. Randy is a friendly low/medium energy guy whose happy place is close to his people. He's great with other dogs and would enjoy having a medium energy fur sibling. He would probably be okay as an only dog in a home where he won't be left home alone for long hours. He's 3-5 years old and fully grown at 33 lbs. Randy needs a home with a physically-fenced yard. If you'd like to meet Randy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care.
