DAVY is a sweet, low key companionable dog looking for a home. He's a medium-energy mixed breed boy, probably a rat terrier/min pin type mix. He's 2-3 years old and fully grown at 20 lbs. He's not a couch potato, but he's outgrown the puppyish antics of younger dog. Davy would be happiest as an "only child", soaking up all the love you have to give.. He's housebroken, medium energy and quiet. Davy would be fine in an apartment or condo. If you'd like to meet sweet Davy, please fill out a dog adoption application at

We can arrange a private meet with an approved adopter or you can meet Davy at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-3 at PetSmart Eastgate if he's still available.

All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care.
