Look at this gleaming, gorgeous golden boy! UPS looks like a miniature golden retriever mix, 18 months old and fully grown at just 24 pounds. UPS is energetic, athletic and fun. He loves everyone he meets, he's dog friendly and loves to play. UPS is ready for fun at the drop of a toy. He needs a home where he will get plenty of daily exercise to tire him out mentally and physically. He's best suited to a home with a physically-fenced yard and another playful dog for running, romping and high-speed zoomies. UPS is also well suited to life with a runner. He sees no reason to walk when you can RUN. He would probably be a good candidate for agility training. UPS is a good-natured, east-to-love guy who loves affection and attention and treats. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet UPS at our weekly adoption event Saturday noon-3 at PetSmart Eastgate.
All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care.
